Unlock operational efficiencies with immersive technology
Our Enterprise division custom-builds interactive tools that help organisations simplify operations, reduce risk and improve workforce performance.
From recruitment and onboarding to training, familiarisation, wayfinding and virtual site visits, we create practical experiences that give people the knowledge, familiarity and confidence they need before they enter live environments. Designed and built to-order, from initial concept to seamlessly-integrated solution.
Better preparation. Less operational friction.
Training, onboarding, site visits and inductions can demand significant time, travel and operational resources.
Complex environments can also be difficult to explain through presentations, manuals and conventional training alone.
Circus turns sites, processes and procedures into practical interactive experiences people can explore online or in virtual reality – helping organisations make knowledge accessible, memorable and scaleable.

01 / Familiarisation and wayfinding
Turn unfamiliar environments into familiar territory.
People arriving at large, complex or unfamiliar sites need to understand where they are going, what to expect and how to navigate the environment confidently.
Circus creates digital familiarisation and wayfinding experiences that allow employees, contractors and visitors to explore sites before arrival and build a clearer understanding of the environment.
“It gives patients greater confidence and reassurance before their appointment, helping to boost attendance so they can get the care they need without delay.”
Ellen Quinney, North East London Cancer Alliance
Featured project: St. Bartholomew’s Hospital

Helping patients arrive with greater confidence.
We worked with Barts Health NHS Trust to create a personalised navigation tool that helps oncology patients find their appointments and removes additional stress during already difficult periods.
St Bart’s is a large and complex hospital, with multiple entrances, long corridors, stairways and appointment locations spread across the site.
For oncology patients already dealing with the anxiety of diagnosis and treatment, simply finding the right place could add an unnecessary layer of stress.
Circus went beyond a conventional virtual tour.
We created a personalised digital journey that takes into account a patient’s appointment location, arrival point and transport method before guiding them step by step through the hospital.
High-resolution 360 imagery allows users to orient themselves at key points. Fly-through videos show where to go next. And a digital guide can support the journey in five languages.
Patients can also choose accessible routes that avoid stairs, helping make the experience useful to a wider range of visitors.
The result is not simply a map of the hospital. It is a focused familiarisation tool designed to show each patient what they need – and nothing they don’t.
The impact
95.7% of surveyed users said the tool made them feel more confident about finding their appointment, while 100% rated its ease of use, clarity of instructions and quality of content as Good or Excellent.
Help people arrive ready.
Familiarisation and wayfinding tools can support:
Site orientation / Workplace navigation / Visitor preparation / Contractor induction / Hospital navigation / Campus and large-site wayfinding
02 / Virtual site visits
Give people access without adding operational disruption.
Physical site visits can take time, require travel, interrupt operations and create additional safety or compliance considerations.
Circus creates interactive virtual site visits that give customers, stakeholders and teams access to facilities remotely, allowing them to understand an environment without every experience having to happen physically.
Featured project: Ford

Making complex manufacturing easier to understand.
We helped Ford open up its electric power unit manufacturing process through an immersive digital experience designed to make complex EV technology more accessible and engaging.
For many people, the engineering behind an electric vehicle can still feel abstract.
Ford wanted to show not only how its electric power units are made, but also the expertise, precision and innovation behind the process.
Circus created a narrative-led web experience using immersive 360 footage from Ford’s Dunton and Halewood facilities, detailed 3D scans and a custom interface inspired by the visual language of Ford vehicles.
Users are guided through the manufacturing journey – from design and component production to assembly, testing and the finished power unit – while hearing directly from the people behind the technology.
The experience turns a technically complex industrial process into something customers and stakeholders can follow, explore and understand from anywhere.
It also gives Ford a scalable way to open up working manufacturing environments without requiring every audience to visit the sites physically.
“It demonstrates how digital experiences can complement physical products, offering customers a deeper understanding and a stronger connection before they ever step into a vehicle.”
Jay Scott-Nicholls
One site. Multiple applications.
A virtual site experience can support:
Customer visits / Stakeholder engagement / Sales / Familiarisation / Recruitment / Training / Remote teams
03 / Recruiting and onboarding
Build familiarity before day one.
New starters and candidates can be asked to absorb a large amount of information about an unfamiliar organisation, role and workplace.
Circus creates interactive recruitment, pre-boarding and onboarding experiences that help people understand what to expect, connect information to real environments and build confidence earlier in the journey.
Featured project: pladis

Helping every new starter feel part of the brand.
We created a custom VR experience for pladis to help new employees understand its products, heritage and role in consumers’ lives – building connection from the beginning of their career.
pladis employs thousands of people across factories, logistics centres and offices.
The challenge was to create an onboarding experience that could connect employees in very different roles and locations with the same brand story.
Circus created an immersive VR experience built around four distinct product worlds, bringing together interactive storytelling, historical content, custom animation and detailed 3D product scans.
Every pladis location has access to the experience, making it one of the first things new employees encounter as part of their journey into the organisation.
Instead of simply telling people about the product portfolio, the experience lets them explore it – connecting familiar brands and products with the history, people and stories behind them.
The impact
91% said the VR experience helped them better understand pladis and its key products. Employees describing themselves as “very connected” to pladis increased from 45% before the experience to 91% afterwards – a 46 percentage-point uplift. And 91% said they would definitely recommend the experience to a new colleague.
The experience has since expanded beyond new-starter onboarding and is also used at recruitment and trade events, for internal communications and with existing employees.
From candidate to colleague.
Interactive experiences can support several stages of the employee journey.
Recruit
Give candidates a clearer picture of the organisation, role and workplace.
Prepare
Help future employees understand what to expect before they arrive.
Onboard
Make key information, culture, products and environments easier to explore and understand.
04 / VR training
Train for the real world, without the real-world risk.
In complex, high-risk or safety-critical environments, learning on the job is not always the best place to start.
VR training can give people the opportunity to understand environments, equipment and procedures before they encounter them live — supporting safer preparation and more consistent knowledge transfer.
Circus creates custom training experiences around the operational challenge, workforce and required outcome.
Featured project: Digital Realty

Reimagining business-critical training at global scale.
We supported Digital Realty to transform complex, paper-based engineer training into an immersive VR platform that can be delivered consistently across locations around the world.
Running and maintaining highly complex data centres demands constant training.
Engineers need to understand critical systems, respond appropriately when something goes wrong and be ready to act without putting live infrastructure at risk.
Existing training relied heavily on paper-based materials and in-person delivery.
Circus created a custom VR training app that allows engineers to practise inside realistic representations of the environments they work in, without requiring access to live systems.
Using 360 footage captured inside a working data centre, the platform can simulate scenarios such as power loss, fire and equipment failure.
Learners work through information, diagrams, decisions and practical tasks while receiving feedback as they progress. Scenarios can vary between attempts, requiring engineers to adapt rather than simply memorise a fixed sequence.
Training that can evolve with the operation.
The platform is designed as more than a standalone VR experience.
Training managers can assign scenarios, track learner performance against milestones and see metrics such as completion time, number of attempts and overall scores.
The training library can also be expanded and updated remotely as systems, hardware or operational requirements change, allowing Digital Realty to evolve the programme without rebuilding it from scratch.
That creates a training tool designed for ongoing operational use, rather than a one-off immersive experience.
Industry evidence for VR learning
Research cited by Digital Realty from PwC found that VR learners completed training 4× faster than classroom learners, were 4× more focused than e-learning learners and reported 275% greater confidence in applying the skills they had learned.
Designed for operational use.
VR training can support:
Technical procedures / Equipment training / Safety-critical scenarios / Process training / Complex workflows / Emergency response / Operational readiness
Work more efficiently. Reduce risk. Build confidence. Improve performance.
Circus Enterprise is not immersive technology for novelty’s sake.
Every solution has an operational job to do.
Efficiency
Do more without adding operational friction.
Make training, onboarding, inductions and site experiences easier to deliver consistently across teams, locations and sites.
Risk reduction
Prepare people before the real-world consequences begin.
Give people the chance to understand environments, equipment and procedures before they enter live situations.
Workforce confidence
Help people feel ready before they need to perform.
Build familiarity around roles, workplaces, sites and procedures so people have a clearer understanding of what to expect.
Operational performance
Turn understanding into better performance.
Make complex knowledge easier to access, absorb and apply in the environments where it matters.
From operational challenge to seamlessly integrated solution.
We do not start with a technology and look for somewhere to use it.
We start with the operational challenge, the people involved and the outcome the organisation needs to achieve.
01 / Discover
Understand the challenge, users, environment and operational outcome.
02 / Design
Define the experience, information, interactions and appropriate technical approach.
03 / Build
Create, test and refine the solution around the people who will use it.
04 / Integrate
Implement a practical tool designed to fit into the organisation rather than sit alongside it.
Discover → Design → Build → Integrate
One toolkit. Multiple applications.
The format follows the problem — not the other way around.
Depending on the challenge, Circus can use:
360 Video · 360 Virtual Tours · AR · VR · Virtual Worlds · Interactive 3D
That could become an operational training experience, virtual site visit, digital induction, familiarisation tool or interactive walkthrough.
The technology is the means. The operational outcome is the point.
Built for complex operations.
A hospital people struggle to navigate. A manufacturing process customers rarely get to see. A global workforce that needs a stronger connection to the brand. Engineers who need to practise before something goes wrong.
The challenges are different, but they have something in common: they are difficult to solve through conventional content alone.
Circus is strongest where environments, processes and procedures are difficult to communicate through training presentations, manuals or video.
We turn that complexity into experiences people can actively explore — helping them understand where to go, what to do and what to expect.
Custom-built around the operation.
Every organisation works differently.
That’s why our solutions are built around the specific users, environments, processes and outcomes involved.
That might mean guiding one person through the exact route they need to take.
Opening a working industrial facility to audiences around the world.
Giving every new starter the same brand experience.
Or recreating a high-risk operational scenario so employees can practise it safely.
The format changes.
The principle doesn’t.
Make complex operations easier to understand, navigate and perform.
