Turn heads. Command attention. Spark excitement.

Circus Experiences transforms marketing campaigns and brand activations into memorable spectacles.

We create immersive and interactive experiences that help brands capture attention, engage audiences, tell stronger stories and make a lasting impact – online, virtually and at events.

Our virtual experiences have helped individual brands reach well over 100,000 users each year.

Turn campaigns into experiences people want to explore.

Audiences are surrounded by content. Familiar formats can struggle to cut through, hold attention or give people a meaningful reason to engage.

Circus helps brands move beyond passive content.

We create experiences that invite audiences to stop, look closer, explore and take part, helping campaigns feel more distinctive, memorable and worth talking about.

01 / Virtual Tours

Give people something to explore.

When a product, place or story deserves more than a static webpage, an interactive virtual tour gives audiences the freedom to discover it for themselves.

Circus creates custom-built virtual experiences that can open up locations, bring behind-the-scenes stories to life and turn campaign content into something audiences can actively explore.

Clients report 50% longer engagement time on virtual tours compared with static image galleries.

Featured project: Big Ben

Opening up an icon to everyone.

We supported the UK Parliament to make the Big Ben visitor experience accessible to all with an interactive virtual tour.

Following the five-year restoration of Elizabeth Tower, physical access remained limited and much of the detail revealed during the work would no longer be visible once the scaffolding came down.

Circus created an interactive experience built around high-resolution 360 imagery, an animated 3D model and rich-media storytelling, allowing audiences to explore the clock faces, belfry, mechanism room and other areas of the tower from anywhere in the world.

The result opened one of Britain’s most recognisable landmarks to a much wider audience, removing physical and geographic barriers while preserving the detail and story of the restoration.

Virtual tours can help brands and organisations:

Create access
Open up locations, processes or experiences audiences would not normally be able to visit.

Increase engagement
Give people something to discover rather than simply something to watch.

Tell stronger stories
Connect content to a place, product or experience in a more interactive way.

Extend the life of an experience
Turn a physical moment, space or event into something audiences can revisit long afterwards.

02 / Virtual Reality

Turn audiences into participants.

Sometimes watching from the outside isn’t enough.

Virtual Reality can place audiences inside a campaign idea, product story or brand world, giving them an active role and creating an experience designed to command attention.

We create custom VR experiences for launches, campaigns, events and activations, built around the idea, the audience and what the experience needs to achieve.

Featured project: KFC Restaurant of the Future

What if you could walk into 2050?

We enabled KFC to make a bigger splash at events with a Virtual Reality peek into the future.

Working with design agency I-AM, Circus helped bring KFC’s vision for a future restaurant to life, a concept full of ideas too far ahead to physically build.

Rather than presenting the proposal through static renders, we turned it into a fully immersive VR experience for internal teams and international franchise partners.

Users could move through the imagined space, explore future design ideas and experience the concept from within, supported by guided audio and interactive visual cues.

The result transformed a forward-looking design proposal into something stakeholders could understand, discuss and experience together.

Vega Awards 2023 — Platinum Winner, VR and 360 Video / Best Experiential Design

More than a view. An experience.

VR can help a campaign:

Capture attention
Create something unexpected enough to stand apart from familiar campaign formats.

Encourage participation
Give audiences an active role in the experience.

Make abstract ideas tangible
Allow people to experience concepts, products and environments that don’t yet exist.

Make the moment memorable
Turn an idea into a brand experience designed to stick.

03 / 360 Video

Don’t just tell the story. Let people step inside it.

Some stories are difficult to communicate through conventional film or static content. 360 video gives audiences a sense of presence, allowing them to look around, discover details and experience a story from within.

Circus creates immersive 360 content for campaigns, launches, events, web experiences and VR, helping brands bring products, places and complex stories to life.

Featured project: Merck VR Product Showcase

Taking audiences inside a precision manufacturing process.

We partnered with Merck and Porter Novelli to create an immersive VR experience showcasing the innovative manufacturing process behind one of Merck’s flagship products.

With regulation limiting how the product could be packaged and marketed, Merck needed a more creative way to communicate its story. Circus created a three-minute immersive experience that takes physicians and pharmacists inside the German factory where the product is made.

Our crew captured immersive footage from inside the manufacturing process, working in protective suits and rigging cameras directly into the machinery. Back in London, we combined the live-action footage with CG animation to reveal what was happening inside the machines and at particle scale.

The final experience was rendered in stereoscopic 8K 180-degree video and translated into four languages, with native-speaker voiceovers and localised visuals. It was deployed across a fleet of VR headsets at Merck events, meetings and summits around the world.

“Wow! Impressive. It’s amazing! The VR was a hit!” Merck

Bring audiences closer to the story.

360 content can be particularly powerful for:

Behind-the-scenes access / Product storytelling / Locations and environments / Technical storytelling / Campaign storytelling / Events and launches

04 / Immersive installations

Create something people stop for.

Events, launches and physical activations are competing for attention in busy environments.

We combine creative thinking, digital content and interactive technology to transform physical spaces into experiences that draw people in and give them a reason to participate.

From exhibitions and pop-ups to launches and brand activations, every installation is built around the campaign, the audience and the desired impact.

Featured project: London Zoo × Outernet

Four storeys of penguins. Right in the middle of London.

We took over Europe’s largest LED screen to drive summer zoo visitors and earn more than 500,000 online impressions.

London Zoo wanted to create a bold summer activation that would cut through with families and tourists.

Circus transformed its Penguin Beach attraction into an immersive public experience at Outernet, using underwater 360 footage, large-scale projection and spatial audio to surround audiences with the sights and sounds of the colony.

The project pushed both capture and display technology in new directions, turning real-world wildlife footage into a four-storey digital spectacle in central London.

The result was a highly visible activation designed to stop people in their tracks, generate conversation and encourage audiences to continue their journey with London Zoo.

More than 500,000 online impressions.

“We’re over the moon. It’s completely brilliant. Something we’ve never done before.”
London Zoo

Capture attention. Engage audiences. Tell stronger stories.

The technology is only part of the experience.

Our work is designed around four things a strong campaign needs to do.

Attention

Create something people stop for.

Help campaigns, launches and activations stand out where everyone is competing to be noticed.

Circus experiences average a 22% bounce rate.

Engagement

Turn passive audiences into active participants.

Give people something to do, discover and explore, creating more opportunities for meaningful interaction.

Circus virtual experience sessions have ranged from 2 minutes 49 seconds to 4 minutes 25 seconds, up to 2.5× the average web session cited in our analysis.

Storytelling

Bring products, places and stories to life.

Turn complex, technical or hard-to-access stories into environments audiences can explore for themselves.

Brand impact

Make the experience as memorable as the message.

Create distinctive brand moments that feel purposeful to the campaign and true to the brand.

From real places to impossible worlds.

Big Ben’s belfry. A restaurant that doesn’t exist yet. A pioneering museum in San Francisco. An underwater penguin colony projected four storeys high in central London.

Every brief is different.

That’s why we don’t start with the technology.

We start with the audience, the idea and what the experience needs to achieve.

Then we choose the right combination from our creative toolkit:

360 Video · 360 Virtual Tours · AR · VR · Virtual Worlds · Interactive 3D · Immersive Installations

The technology follows the creative idea, not the other way around.

Custom-built for the brand.

Every Circus experience is created around the campaign, audience, environment and brand.

That can mean digitally opening up somewhere people cannot physically visit.

Building a completely imagined world.

Turning editorial content into something audiences can explore.

Or transforming a public space into a spectacle people weren’t expecting.

Whatever the format, the goal is the same: create an experience that earns attention, encourages interaction, strengthens the story and gives people something to remember.

Got a campaign people should experience, not just see?

Let’s create something audiences want to stop for, explore and remember.

Immersive. Interactive. Impactful.
